HeatCheck
In short: HeatCheck does not collect, store on any server, share, or sell any personal data. The app has no internet access, no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting tools. Everything it reads stays on your device.
1. Who we are
HeatCheck (package name com.bittyferrari.heatcheck) is an Android app developed by bittyferrari (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles information.
2. Information the app reads
To show temperatures and device details, HeatCheck reads the following information locally on your device:
- CPU, GPU and other thermal sensor readings (from system files such as
/sys/class/thermal); - Battery temperature, voltage, current and health;
- Memory and storage usage, CPU core frequencies;
- Device information such as model, manufacturer, Android version, security patch level, kernel version, SoC, GPU name and display specs.
This information is displayed in the app, widget, picture-in-picture window, floating overlay and notification. It is never transmitted off your device. The app does not request the Internet permission and therefore cannot send data anywhere.
HeatCheck does not access your contacts, photos, files, location, camera, microphone, phone number, advertising ID or any other personal identifiers.
3. Information stored on your device
The app saves only your preferences (for example language, picture-in-picture ratio, font size, overlay opacity and layout) in the app’s private storage on your device. These settings contain no personal information. If Android backup is enabled on your device, the system may include these settings in your own Google device backup, which is governed by Google’s privacy policy. Uninstalling the app removes them.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in Android Settings; the main screen continues to work without them.
5. Clipboard
The “Copy all” button in Advanced Info copies device details to your clipboard only when you tap it. The app does not read your clipboard.
6. Third-party services and links
HeatCheck contains no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, tracking or crash reporting. The app may include an optional donation link (PayPal). Tapping it opens your web browser; any information you provide there is handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy, not by us.
7. Data sharing and sale
We do not collect any data, so we do not share or sell data with anyone.
8. Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).
9. Security
Because no data leaves your device and the app has no network access, there is no data in transit or on servers to protect. Preferences are kept in app-private storage protected by Android’s app sandbox.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes (for example, if a future version starts using the internet) will be reflected here before release.

3. 儲存在裝置上的資訊
App 只會把你的偏好設定（例如語言、子母畫面比例、字體大小、懸浮視窗不透明度與排列方式）存在裝置上的 App 私有儲存空間，這些設定不含任何個人資訊。若你的裝置開啟了 Android 備份，系統可能會把這些設定包含在你自己的 Google 裝置備份中，該備份適用 Google 的隱私權政策。解除安裝 App 即會刪除這些設定。

5. 剪貼簿
「進階資訊」中的「複製全部」按鈕，只會在你點按時把裝置資訊複製到剪貼簿。App 不會讀取你的剪貼簿內容。
6. 第三方服務與連結
HeatCheck 不含任何廣告、分析、追蹤或錯誤回報的第三方 SDK。App 可能提供選用的贊助連結（PayPal），點按後會開啟瀏覽器；你在該網站提供的任何資訊由 PayPal 依其隱私權政策處理，與我們無關。
7. 資料分享與販售
我們不蒐集任何資料，因此也不會與任何人分享或販售資料。
8. 兒童隱私
App 不會向任何人（包括未滿 13 歲或你所在地區規定年齡以下的兒童）蒐集個人資訊。
9. 安全性
由於沒有任何資料離開你的裝置，且 App 沒有網路存取能力，因此不存在傳輸中或伺服器上需要保護的資料。偏好設定存放在受 Android App 沙箱保護的私有儲存空間中。
10. 政策變更
本政策如有變更，我們會更新本頁內容與上方的生效日期。若有重大變更（例如未來版本開始使用網路），會在該版本發布前更新於此。
